Fused Silica Trial Orders: How a 100-500 kg Order Works

A fused silica trial follows a short sequence. The quantity often discussed is 100-500 kg, and that quantity remains subject to product and shipping confirmation. The steps below describe how such an order proceeds. They do not test whether that range suits every plant.

Step 1: agree the specification

Write the grade, the form and the particle size, and agree which results will appear on the COA. Align that scope before any material is shipped. The description of trial orders is the reference for this first step.

Step 2: place the quantity subject to confirmation

Request a quantity inside 100-500 kg only after the specification is written. Confirmation covers the product and the shipping route, including destinations in Europe, the United States and Brazil. Step 3: record what the process did

When the lot arrives, file the COA with the receiving record. Note what the process actually did, using the internal method the plant already has. Those notes belong to the plant. They are not a list that places suppliers in order.

Step 4: repeat only after your criteria are met

A repeat follows only if the trial met the acceptance limits set before the shipment. Send the next request through the quotation request with the same grade and size, plus the new quantity and the destination.
