When B Grade Fused Silica Fits the Specification

B Grade is a defined grade. It is not a leftover and it is not an unnamed second quality. It fits when its typical limits meet the specification you send, and when the COA for the quoted lot agrees.

Read it as its own grade

Treat B Grade as a grade with its own typical figures. Compare those figures with your specification before you decide. the B Grade description sets the figures out for that comparison.

Typical chemistry

For grains, the typical SiO2 minimum is 99.8%. For powder, the typical SiO2 minimum is 99.7%. Typical figures discussed with B Grade also include Fe2O3 ≤ 200 ppm, Na2O ≤ 200 ppm and magnetic material ≤ 100 ppm. They are confirmed on the COA or the quotation for the quoted lot.

Name the particle size

Still name the particle size. Sand, grain, powder, flour and granular material are forms you must name, together with a millimetre range or a mesh code. the sand page describes sand with the size still required.

Ask for the COA

Request the COA and read it against your specification. Send the size and the packing with the enquiry so the offer states the grade that was quoted. Buyers can write that enquiry on the enquiry form.

Shenzhen Zhixin New Materials Co., Ltd. can offer B Grade when the limits you send are met by those typical figures. The COA of the quoted lot remains the check.
